How do I check for available dates?

You may check for available dates by calling our office at 931.823.3664 and speaking to a member of our staff.  Or, you may e-mail us at with your inquiry.

Can I schedule a tour or meeting?

Tours are available Monday through Thursday from 2:00-6:00 pm by appointment. Weekend tours are available upon special request and only if the property is not rented for an event. You may call the above listed phone number to schedule a tour.

Do you offer consultations?

We offer free consultations by appointment.  Once we have discussed the details of your event, we will e-mail you a detailed, descriptive plan and customized package proposal. We will also include a copy of our wedding contract in the e-mail proposal. Information regarding our terms, payment schedules and other important items are covered in great detail within the contract. You will have seven days to notify us of your intentions.

How do I confirm my date?

To confirm the date,  a 30% deposit of your initial proposal total is due along with a security deposit within the seven day period.  The security deposit will be returned to you, barring any overages or damages on the first Monday of the month following your event.  If you do not confirm the date within the seven day period, it will be placed back on the calendar for availability.

When is the balance due?

The balance of your package is due 14 days prior to your event.

How many planning meetings will we have?
Once you have chosen bridesmaid's dresses, we will schedule a meeting in which we will discuss all of the pertinent details pertaining to the decor, flowers, food, ceremony and reception. We will issue a revised, detailed written plan for the event then make adjustments as needed. Approximately one month prior to the event, we will schedule a meeting with the wedding director to discuss timelines, activities and protocol. We will also have a final review of the event plan at this meeting.

Who will be responsible for running the event?
Our staff will be on-site to make your guests feel welcome and comfortable, and to ensure that everything is set-up according to our final planning session. We will work with all vendors to insure that every aspect of your wedding runs smoothly.

Can I have exclusive use of The Clark House? Are we restricted to certain areas?
We do not host more than one wedding per day. The Clark House offers exclusive use of our facilities, including The Clark House, Pavilion, Barn, gardens, landscaped grounds and parking area for each event based on your designated period. Most brides and event hosts use a combination of sites so that guests have ample room to enjoy all aspects of this beautiful country estate, inside and out!

Do you have spaces for indoor and outdoor ceremonies?
Most wedding ceremonies and events take place outdoors on our lawns, terrace, stable or pavilion. The terrace seats up to 300 guests comfortably. The ceremony room inside the house can seat 40 guests in the Parlor for intimate weddings. The Pavilion, Barn, and front lawn are also possibilities for wedding ceremonies.
